2024 OKC Restaurant Week Mission

OKC Restaurant Week benefits the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and its vision of an Oklahoma where no one goes hungry.

Oklahoma consistently ranks as one of the hungriest states in the nation. The majority of people served by the Regional Food Bank are chronically hungry children, seniors living on limited incomes and hardworking families struggling to make ends meet.

Since 2022, locally operated restaurants have raised more than $168,000 during OKC Restaurant Week which would help the Regional Food Bank to provide 672,000 meals to Oklahomans living with hunger.

By participating in OKC Restaurant Week YOU are making a difference in the fight against hunger. For every one dollar donated to the Regional Food Bank, 96 cents goes toward programming, food purchases and providing food assistance.

Knowing that children and families are experiencing hunger in my own community has made being a part of the OKC Restaurant Week incredibly worth it. To be surrounded by so many restaurant owners who are willing to be a part of that solution has also been inspiring. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to the growth and expansion of OKC Restaurant Week and its impact for the Regional Food Bank.

The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s OKC Restaurant Week is an excellent opportunity for metro area residents to give back while doing what they love: eating all the delicious, nationally award-winning food that our community has to offer. Working with local restaurants, cafes and bars to support members of our community struggling with food insecurity is one of the most meaningful activities I engage in each year.
