Donor Advised Funds
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. An increasingly popular charitable vehicle, DAF’s are an excellent way to both simplify your charitable giving and facilitate your strategic philanthropic goals.
The grant may arrive at the Regional Food Bank with only the institution’s name and address on it. Please request that your name and address be included so we may thank you for your generosity.
Regional Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Our tax identification number is 73-1100380. Mailing address: PO Box 270968 Oklahoma City, OK 73137.
Please discuss all charitable giving tax implications with your financial advisor.
Please use the form above or contact your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) custodian to make your donation in this way. If you are 70-1/2 or older, you can donate funds from an IRA to the Regional Food Bank. in what is called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). And, if you’ve reached the age where you need to take required minimum distributions (RMDs) from your traditional IRAs, these donations will count toward your RMDs, and you can avoid paying taxes on the money by donating it to the Regional Food Bank.
