September is Hunger Action Month!

Play Your Part
Ending hunger takes more than one solution. It takes people who are willing to look out for each other, especially now, when so many communities are feeling stretched and uncertain.
Hunger Action Month is a call for you to step into your role. Not just to care, but to act. Not just to hope for the better, but to help make it happen.
Across the Feeding America network, neighbors are stepping up in ways that both strengthen and protect their communities. Some share their stories to help shape policies protecting access to food. Others grow fresh produce, so food banks and pantries can keep families nourished.
Some rescue groceries that would otherwise go uneaten. Others donate what they can or show up to pack and distribute meals. Different roles with a shared purpose: making sure everyone has access to the food and resources we all need to thrive.
When we work together, small actions like giving a donation, joining a volunteer shift and speaking up create a ripple effect. Every action builds a bridge toward stability, helping protect families and helping communities stay strong in the face of tough times.
Find your part this Hunger Action Month. Give. Volunteer. Speak up. Because when neighbors care for neighbors, we don’t just work to end hunger, we help protect the communities we call home.
Sept. 29 is Hunger Action Day!
Help raise awareness on Hunger Action Day and all month long by wearing orange – the color of hunger relief. On Sept. 29, the Regional Food Bank encourages Oklahomans to wear orange, light up Oklahoma orange and stand in solidarity with those facing hunger.
Take Action to End Hunger!
This September, the Regional Food Bank is asking Oklahomans to come together to play their part. This Hunger Action Month, your action is the missing piece. Whether you advocate, donate or volunteer, your action helps assemble a stronger future for neighbors facing hunger.
Host a Hunger Action Dinner
Food brings us together and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is encouraging YOU to host a Hunger Action Dinner to raise awareness and educate community members about food insecurity and the mission of the Regional Food Bank.
