April 3, 2024 – For the 11 straight year, the Walmart and Sam’s Club Fight Hunger. Spark Change campaign returns to central and western Oklahoma to support the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.

The campaign, which runs through April 29, partners Walmart and Sam’s Club suppliers, customers and members all in an effort to help provide food assistance to Oklahomans living with hunger.

“Walmart and Sam’s Club stores are two of the Regional Food Bank’s most important partners,” said Stacy Dykstra, chief executive of the Regional Food Bank. “Not only do they consistently provide enough donations for thousands of meals each year through the Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign, they also consistently rank as one of the Regional Food Bank’s top retail recovery partners that helps keep the shelves and freezers stocked at our partners across our 53-county service area.”

Customers can participate in three ways:

  • By donating at check-out in stores or clubs or round up at Walmart.com and the Walmart app.
  • By purchasing participating products in-store or online at Walmart.com or SamsClub.com. For every purchase of a participating product, the supplier will donate the monetary equivalent of at least one meal ($0.10) on behalf of a Feeding America partner food bank at Walmart and five meals ($0.50) at Sam’s Club.
  • By donating at Feeding America’s Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign donation site at either FeedingAmerica.org/Walmart or FeedingAmerica.org/SamsClub.

To support the Regional Food Bank, customers and members shopping at Walmart and Sam’s Clubs can look for specially marked products from these participating suppliers:
