Individual Volunteers
All volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes for safety precautions. Individuals wearing flip flops, sandals or any shoes where toes are exposed will be unable to volunteer.
Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must be registered prior to volunteering, and the registration includes the acknowledgement of the Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability.
The Regional Food Bank is a tobacco-free facility and smoking, dipping, chewing of tobacco or the use of vapor devices is only permitted in a private vehicle.
Court-mandated Community Service
If you are seeking to complete court-mandated community service for a nonviolent offense at the Regional Food Bank, you must first complete a registration. This applies even if the court has not yet ordered service hours but you have a charge and will present the hours for or through legal purposes. Once registered you will receive an email letting you know if you can complete your hours with us. After you receive a confirmation email you can then get all the required hours you need at any of our volunteer opportunities. Please allow a minimum of two business days for someone to reach back out to you.
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
We keep volunteer schedules posted three months in advance. Click the month next to the volunteer opportunity that you would like to volunteer for. Follow the prompts to confirm your individual registration.
Volunteer Center / Hope’s Kitchen
- Located at 3355 South Purdue, Oklahoma City Okla., 73179.
- Volunteers sort and pack food for a variety of Regional Food Bank programs.
- The minimum age requirement is 8 years of age
- Volunteers may be asked to prepare and package fresh meals in Hope’s Kitchen, where the temperature is 55 degrees, so please dress accordingly.
Food & Resource Center in Moore
Small groups and individuals needed at this time! To set up a group with 6 or more volunteers, please click here.
- Located at 2635 N. Shields Blvd., Moore, Okla., 73160.
- Shopper support to assist visitors in a one-on-one setting.
- Sorting and stocking to help maximize the shopping experience.
- Assist with shopper intake by helping with check-in process and provide additional resources as needed.
- The minimum age requirement is 12 years of age.
Senior Pantry
- Three different Senior Pantry locations to choose from.
- Distribution Day: Shopper support to assist visitors in a direct and personal setting.
- Stocking Day: Prepare the pantry by stocking, unboxing and cleaning before residents arrive.
- The minimum age requirement is 18-years-old.
