Aug. 31, 2023 – The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is pleased to announce that Stephanie Harris will join the organization on Sept. 5 as the chief impact officer. In her role, she will provide leadership in the areas of Childhood Hunger, Community Health, Community Connections, Network Management, Advocacy and Public Policy and the Regional Food Bank Food & Resource Center.

“As a public health and social services leader, Stephanie brings exceptional experience and expertise to her new role with the organization,” said Stacy Dykstra, chief executive officer of the Regional Food Bank. “We are thrilled that she is joining the team.”

Harris brings over a decade of leadership experience in the nonprofit field. In her most recent position as the director of public health and social services with the Oklahoma City Indian Clinic and was responsible for the organization’s health and social services programs and was instrumental in helping to establish an on-site food pantry.

Harris holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in healthcare administration. She has earned several honors including the Indian Health Service Oklahoma Area Director Customer Service Award in 2022, the Indian Health Services Director Customer Service Award in 2021, 40 under 40 in Cancer: Rising Stars and Emerging Leaders in 2020, Nextgen 30 under 30 Award in 2019 and Employee of the Year at the Oklahoma City Indian Clinic in 2018.
