Meal Sites for Children
The Regional Food Bank staff continues to work with the Oklahoma State Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to open more meal sites where any child up to age 18 can receive a free meal and snack on weekdays. New sites are being added daily at Meals4KidsOK.org.
An afterschool and summer program, Kids Café provides food, mentoring, tutoring, and a variety of other activities to children. Last year, the program provided 261,238 meals and snacks to 6,187 children at 53 sites.
Together, we are feeding Oklahoma’s future. Through the Food for Kids Match campaign, a $100 donation will provide meals for two children for an entire year in a Food for Kids Program. Click here to make a donation or call 405.600.3136.
Kids Café is operated as a partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Education and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. For more information, please contact 405.972.1111.
