Nov. 24, 2025 – The Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma will once again raise money for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma during its run of “A Christmas Carol,” presented by Devon Energy. For the past 14 years, audiences have contributed over $285,000 to the Regional Food Bank.

“This production is such a special holiday tradition, and we are always grateful for the support of Lyric Theatre and its patrons,” said Stacy Dykstra, chief executive officer of the Regional Food Bank. “The support we receive makes a tremendous impact on our neighbors in need of food assistance. We encourage everyone to purchase tickets and get into the holiday spirit.”

The program begins Saturday, Nov. 28 and runs through Dec. 28. Last season, audiences contributed more than $36,000, the highest donation total in the history of the local production.

“We are proud to partner with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma for the 14th year in a row during Lyric’s A Christmas Carol,” said Michael Baron, producing artistic director of the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. “Lyric is thankful for the work the Regional Food Bank does all year round and for the donations our audiences graciously give to help others in need.”
