Stamp Out Hunger is the largest single-day food drive in the nation. The Regional Food Bank partners with the U.S. Postal Service and the National Association of Letter Carriers to collect food across our service area.
The week of the drive, letter carriers deliver a plastic bag to each mailbox on their route. The bag instructs that customer to fill the bag with shelf stable food and place it in their mailbox on Saturday, May 11. Letter carriers then pick that food up on May 11 and deliver it back to their post offices, where it is sorted by Regional Food Bank volunteers. Learn more about the drive:
