Jan. 18, 2021 – The Downs Family Christmas Light Ministry raised $50,184 and 9,010 pounds of food for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Donations from the annual holiday light show will help to provide 408,982 meals for Oklahomans living with hunger.

The annual show features more than 18 miles of light strands synchronized to holiday music while visitors enjoy the display from the comfort of their own vehicles. The display is free, but visitors are encouraged to make a monetary or food donation to the Regional Food Bank.

“We are so grateful for the extraordinary generosity of Oklahomans, and the Downs family, throughout this season’s holiday light display,” said Stacy Dykstra, chief executive officer of the Regional Food Bank. “This substantial donation will make a significant impact in the fight against hunger during difficult times. Thank you!”

Since 2009, the Downs Family Christmas Light Ministry has raised $423,400 for the Regional Food Bank. Learn more at downsfamilychristmas.com.
