Nov. 17, 2023 – The Downs Family Christmas Light Ministry is raising food and funds to benefit the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. The annual holiday light display kicks off the evening of Nov. 23 and runs through the end of the year.

The display, which features more than 18 miles of lights, is synchronized to holiday music that visitors can enjoy from their vehicles.

“We are so thankful to the Downs family for all the hard work they put in each year to make this incredible display,” said Stacy Dykstra, chief executive officer of the Regional Food Bank. “Their hard work is making a big impact in the fight against hunger in Oklahoma.”

Entrance is free but visitors are encouraged to make a monetary or food donation to the Regional Food Bank. Last year, the display helped to raise $25,097 and 5,019 pounds of food. Since 2007, visitors to the display have donated more than $477,388.

The display is located at 2900 72nd Ave. S.E. in Norman, Okla. Visit downsfamilychristmas.com or follow the Downs Family Christmas Light Ministry on Facebook to learn more about the show.
