March 24, 2023 – On Wednesday, March 29, 11 Jersey Mike’s Subs locations in central Oklahoma will celebrate the company’s Day of Giving by donating 100% of sales to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Food for Kids Programs.
The event is the culmination of Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving, where locations encourage customers to donate to the Regional Food Bank throughout the month of March.
“For over a decade, our partners at Jersey Mike’s Subs have proven to be dedicated and passionate about fighting hunger in Oklahoma,” said Stacy Dykstra, chief executive officer of the Regional Food Bank. “On Wednesday, March 29, we encourage everyone to visit a Jersey Mike’s location and buy a sub to help fight childhood hunger in central and western Oklahoma.”
On the Day of Giving, donations can also be made in person at each location and through the Jersey Mike’s app. For a $5 donation, customers will receive a coupon for a free sub.
Since 2012, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $600,000 for the Regional Food Bank’s Food for Kids Programs that include the Backpack Program for elementary school children, the School Pantry Program for middle and high school students, the Kids Café Program for children attending afterschool programs and the Summer Feeding Program that provides free meals and snacks to students throughout the summer months when school is not in session.
