Hunger Action Month

During September, Hunger Action Month is a nationwide effort to mobilize the public, bring greater attention to the issue of hunger, and promote ways to get involved. Through Feeding America, the Regional Food Bank is joining more than 200 food banks across the nation to encourage the public to take action against hunger.
Whether it’s volunteering, donating or advocating, there is something that everyone can do to make an impact!

Donation Match Offer During the Month of September
Four very generous donors, including Top of the World, Trusted Choice-Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma, Harris Foundation-OKC and one anonymous supporter, have offered to match every dollar you give, up to $100,000, to help provide backpacks of weekend food for hungry children through the Food for Kids Backpack program! Oklahoma children are heading back to school, and we need your help to make sure their basic need for food is met. Any gift you give to the Food for Kids Backpack Program during the month of September will be doubled as we strive to reach our goal of expanding the Food for Kids Backpack Program to elementary schools in all 53 counties we serve.
