May 21, 2025 – Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of Oklahomans during the Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving, 13 Jersey Mike’s Subs locations raised $176,727 for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Food for Kids Programs.

The gift comes as part of Jersey Mike’s nationwide Month of Giving campaign, which culminated on March 26 with the Day of Giving, when 100% of all sales, not just profits, were donated to local charities across the country. In Oklahoma, that meant every dollar spent at central Oklahoma Jersey Mike’s locations directly supported efforts to fight childhood hunger.

“We are deeply moved by the incredible dedication of the Jersey Mike’s team and the generosity of Oklahomans,” said Stacy Dykstra, chief executive officer of the Regional Food Bank. “Their employees poured their hearts into every moment of service during this campaign because they knew it meant hope for a hungry child. This generous donation is more than a gift, it’s a reminder that when we care deeply and work together, we can make sure no child goes to bed hungry.”

The funds will support the Regional Food Bank’s Food for Kids Programs, which provide chronically hungry children in Oklahoma with nutritious food throughout the school year and beyond. Oklahoma remains one of the states with the highest rates of child food insecurity in the nation.

“This is such a big deal for Jersey Mike’s, both locally and nationally, and we are thrilled to make such a huge impact in the communities we serve,” said Charlie Brown, franchise owner and area director for Jersey Mike’s. “We want to send out a big thank you to our customers for helping us break the $1 million milestone in total giving to the Regional Food Bank.”

Since 2012, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $1.1 million for the Food for Kids Programs. This is the equivalent of more than 3 million meals for Oklahoma children living with hunger.
