Jessica and Jeremy had both lost their jobs and were living in their vehicle.

They came to the Regional Food Bank Food & Resource Center seeking assistance. Staff at the facility help residents of Moore, Norman and southwest Oklahoma City with food, but also with resources to help with other needs.

After the couple landed on their feet and got into their own apartment, they came back to the Regional Food Bank FRC to express their thanks.

“If it wasn’t for the food you gave us, we would have gone hungry,” Jessica says. “It helped us save money for our home.”

They’re just two of many who are grateful for the Regional Food Bank FRC.

Another Moore resident, who was laid off during COVID-19, says the Regional Food Bank FRC helped his family at a difficult time. “You have provided us with food security,” he says. “Knowing that the Regional Food Bank FRC exists is a peace of mind.”

A woman with diabetes whose husband has leukemia and heart trouble says the Regional Food Bank FRC has been invaluable. They are both on Social Security, living on less than $2,000 a month.

“I’m so thankful for the food I receive,” she says. “Without the Regional Food Bank FRC, we would be only eating once a day or not at all. Thank you!”

Your support keeps the Regional Food Bank FRC staffed and well stocked so we can serve those who are in need of food. Thank you!
