March 18, 2024 – The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is pleased to announce that Chris Peterson joins the organization March 18 as the chief people and culture officer. In his role, Peterson will lead talent acquisition strategies, career development plans, promote workplace inclusion and lead the Regional Food Bank’s Human Resources team.

“We are excited to welcome Chris back to the Regional Food Bank,” said Stacy Dykstra, chief executive officer of the Regional Food Bank. “With over 23 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge that will be beneficial as we work toward our vision of an Oklahoma where no one goes hungry.”

Peterson previously served as the senior director of Human Resources at the Regional Food Bank before accepting a position at Southern Nazarene University where he has served as the associate vice president of financial services since 2020.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in business management and a Master of Business Administration.
