“Overall, my experience as an AmeriCorps Member at the Regional Food Bank has been life changing,” said Danielle Draper, capacity building coordinator and AmeriCorps member. “I gained so much life experience and insight into the lives of this community that I was able to truly grow as a person. This experience also taught me how to put the needs of others above my own in a very practical way. Working with an organization that aims to serve as many people as possible has given me the passion to continue working in the nonprofit field. I will cherish my time spent at the Regional Food Bank, and there is no other organization that I would’ve liked to be a part of as a part of my national service to this community.”
