(OKLAHOMA CITY) — July 17, 2017 – Oklahoma Gazette’s second annual OKC Restaurant Week, presented by Central Oklahoma Cadillac Dealers, cooked up $7,200 worth of kindness that will help fight childhood hunger. Between June 9-18, nearly 30 Oklahoma City restaurants donated $1 for every prix fixe lunch and $2 for every prix fixe dinner to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Food for Kids programs.
Participating restaurants included: Aria Lounge, Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes, Broadway 10 Bar & Chophouse, Cheever’s Cafe, Chef Curry To Go, Chick -N- Beer, E. S. Founder’s Restaurant inside Embassy Suites Medical Center, FLINT – Colcord Hotel, Iron Star Urban BBQ, Kitchen No. 324, La Brasa, Naylamp Peruvian Restaurant, On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, Paseo Grill, Red Prime Steak, Republic Gastropub Chisholm Creek, Republic Gastropub Classen Curve, Rococo, Sauced on Paseo, Texas de Brazil, The Drake, The Meat Market Refectory, The Melting Pot, Vast, Viceroy Grille – Ambassador Hotel, VZD’s Restaurant & Bar and Yokozuna Chisholm Creek.
This is the second year the Oklahoma Gazette’s Restaurant Week proceeds benefitted the Food for Kids programs that includes the Summer Feeding program that provides free meals to children 18 and under over the long summer months, when free and reduced price meals are not available at school.
