(OKLAHOMA CITY) – April 9, 2019 - Oklahoma City-area Jersey Mike's Subs locations raised more than $77,000 for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Food for Kids Programs during the restaurant's annual "Month of Giving."
Employees from 12 metro locations gathered donations throughout the entire month of March with incentives being given to customers who donated at the register. The month culminated March 27 during the "Day of Giving" with each location donating 100 percent of its proceeds to the Regional Food Bank. By raising more than $77,000, the locations were able to beat their previous fundraising record of $74,000 set just last year.
"Each year we are blown away by our local Jersey Mike's management and staff. "This donation will help provide nutritious food for more than 770 children in one of our Food for Kids Programs for an entire year."
