(OKLAHOMA CITY) – April 24, 2019 - Time is running out to purchase tickets and join in on the fun, fun, fun with The Beach Boys and John Stamos during their May 4 concert at Civic Center Music Hall. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Food for Kids Programs and The Oklahoma Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Only a few hundred tickets remain for the star-studded concert that also includes Dean Torrence of "Jan and Dean.” Several unique items will be up for auction during the concert including a "Full House" script signed by Stamos and two surfboards designed by Torrence.
"It's the best way to do music...to make money for all these charities and give it all back while you are singing," said Bruce Johnston, of The Beach Boys.
In Oklahoma, one in four children do not have consistent access to food. Every $100 donated at the concert will help to provide food for one student in a Food for Kids Program for an entire year.
"This is a perfect opportunity to see a legendary act in concert while helping out your community," said Katie Fitzgerald, chief executive officer of the Regional Food Bank. "We are very grateful to The Beach Boys for giving back to the thousands of children in western and central Oklahoma that live with food insecurity."
Tickets for the concert can be purchased online by visiting okcciviccenter.com, over the phone at 405-594-8300 or by visiting Civic Center Music Hall, 201 N. Walker Ave. in Oklahoma City.
