Leadership Council

The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Leadership Council connects young professionals seeking to get involved in their community and state through engagement with the Regional Food Bank.

This group of dedicated professionals volunteer their time and creativity to raise awareness about the issue of hunger and increase the visibility of the Regional Food Bank and its vision of an Oklahoma where no one goes hungry.

Leadership Council works year-round to raise funds and awareness for the Regional Food Bank’s network of partners through fundraisers, social gatherings and community calls that attract young professionals in their communities.

These members receive special access to volunteer opportunities, networking events and social events.

Eligibility

To be eligible to join Leadership Council, young professionals (age 24 to 40) must first complete a provisional year in Leadership Class.

Members selected for the provisional year meet one evening a month to learn about hunger in the state and take a deeper dive into the work of the Regional Food Bank.

Applications for Leadership Class X are officially live! Applications will close at 11:59 p.m. May 13. For any questions, please contact Jacey Goerlitz, community educator, at jgoerlitz@rfbo.org.
