Whiles schools were closed throughout central and western Oklahoma this month, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma was collaborated with partner agencies and nonprofits across Oklahoma to keep students, families and impacted school personnel fed.
We are so grateful to our donors, volunteers, partners and local organizations for helping us provide thousands of meals for students and families while schools were closed,” said Katie Fitzgerald, chief executive officer of the Regional Food Bank. “I also want to thank the numerous school districts that did an incredible job keeping their nutrition services open and available, providing meals to children throughout our state.”
