When schools close for the summer, millions of kids who rely on school lunches go hungry. Only 4.4% of children in Oklahoma participate in Summer Feeding, leaving 312,238 of children in Oklahoma unserved during this critical time when they are out of school. Luckily, the U.S. Senate is working on legislation that would make it easier for kids to get reliable, nutritious meals during the summer. Tell your U.S. Senators to invest in kids and end summer hunger.
