Mark your calendars, Giving Tuesday 2019 is set for Dec. 3.
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world.
This Giving Tuesday, the Regional Food Bank is encouraging the public to pledge to do their part in the fight against hunger through participating in the Holiday Match campaign, signing up for a volunteer shift or sharing their voice on social media to help the fight against hunger. Learn more about Giving Tuesday by clicking here.
Through the end of the year, every gift to the Regional Food Bank's Holiday Match campaign is matched, up to $600,000, thanks to APMEX.com, Cresap Family Foundation and Chesapeake Energy Corporation. A donation to the Regional Food Bank on Giving Tuesday helps to provide twice the food, and hope, to those living with food insecurity in central and western Oklahoma.
Donations can be made by visiting rfbo.org/give or by visiting the Regional Food Bank’s Facebook page and joining the Holiday Match fundraiser.
Donate your time this Giving Tuesday by signing up for a volunteer shift. The work of volunteers helped save the Regional Food Bank more than $4.2 million in the past year.
The Regional Food Bank offers volunteer shifts six days a week, including several evening shifts. Click here to find a volunteer shift.
