Graham Colton Returns to Alma Mater to Speak Out Against Hunger
| WHAT: | Singer/songwriter and Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma Celebrity Council member Graham Colton will return to his alma mater, Heritage Hall, for an exclusive performance in celebration of the middle school's recent successful food drive. |
| WHEN: | Nov. 23, 2009 from 10 to 11 a.m. |

| WHY: | Graham started the food drive tradition at Heritage Hall Middle School when he was president of STAR Club. Years later, as a part of the Regional Food Bank's Celebrity Council, Colton continues in his commitment to fighting hunger in the state. Oklahoma is the sixth hungriest state in the nation, with one in five children at risk of going hungry every day. The Regional Food Bank provides enough food to feed over 63,000 Oklahomans every week - and yet, it is still not enough. Partner agencies, like soup kitchens, food pantries and shelters, are reporting up to a 50 percent increase in need. |
