Our mission is to help the charitable community effectively feed people in need.

During its first year, the Food Bank distributed approximately 280,000 pounds of food to 45 charities – we now do that in 3½ days. Since its inception in 1980, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma has distributed more than 268 million pounds of food worth more than $453 million.  In fiscal year 2007, the Food Bank distributed 24 million pounds of food, enough to feed 48,000 Oklahomans every week.
