Hold a Fund and Food Drive
One in seven Oklahomans struggles with hunger every day. You can help. Donations collected through fund and food drives help stock food pantries and soup kitchens in central and western Oklahoma.
Read our Fund and Food Drive Information Packet (PDF) and fill out this application to receive food and fund drive supplies, like 24" x 28" x 12" donation boxes, plastic donation bags and 11" x 17 " posters. A staff member will contact you within 2 business days to confirm your information. During the busy holiday season, response may take up to 5 business days.
The Regional Food Bank also encourages businesses to collect fund donations. A $1 donation will provide 5 meals to hungry Oklahomans! Set up your personal fundraising page today!
This holiday season, the Regional Food Bank invites your organization to help us reach our goal of distributing 3,500 Holiday Care and Share Boxes food boxes – that's 73,500 meals – to the hungry in central and western Oklahoma!
Promote your fund and food drive
- Add food drive information to web sites, newsletters, posters, intranet and internal employee e-mails
- Promotional materials: sample posters, promotional copy, media advisories, press releases
- Support the Regional Food Bank online by posting about the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma on Facebook and Twitter! View suggested posts.
What to donate
The Regional Food Bank needs your help to fight hunger in Oklahoma.
Every dollar donated will provide seven meals to those in need. The Regional Food Bank's administrative and fundraising costs are less than four percent.
Most needed items include:
- Canned meat
- Canned vegetables
- Canned fruit
- Canned tuna
- Peanut butter
- Rice
- Beans
We also accept other items such as:
- Misc. canned goods
- Packaged goods
- Personal hygiene items
- Cleaning supplies
- Paper goods
Items we cannot accept:
- Baby food in glass containers
- Out-of-date baby formula
What foods should I collect?
- Healthy, non-perishable food
- Items with intact, un-opened, consumer or commercial packaging
- Items with non-breakable packaging (no glass please)
- Food within the expiration date on the packaging
- Home-made items are not accepted

Donations
Transportation is a significant cost to the Regional Food Bank. You can help us make the best use of our resources by picking up your food drive supplies and/or delivering your Fund and Food Drive donations.
Drop off donations
- Bring your donations to the Regional Food Bank's front desk, located at 3355 S. Purdue in Oklahoma City, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- You will receive a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.
Schedule a pick up for donations
- The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma can pick food donations that weigh more than 400 pounds (or 4 boxes full of donations).
- Please make sure all donations are in boxes and in one location.
- Please schedule the pickup at least 3 business days in advance of desired pick up date by filling out this pickup form.
