Emergency Stabilization Act of 2008
Under the recently passed Emergency Stabilization Act of 2008, new tax incentives will help foster increased donations of food and grocery products to food banks nationwide, including the Regional Food Bank.
This new law will extend an enhanced tax deduction for food and grocery donations to all business taxpayers from January 1, 2008, to December 31, 2009 – meaning the law is retroactive and available for product donations already made to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma this year. This law includes deductions for ranchers and farmers as well.

The Food Bank provides accurate and complete receipting of all donations for tax purposes.
