OKC Kids Mind Their Manners With Travis and Presley

CBS’s Greatest America Dog winner Travis Brorsen and his dog, Presley, pay a visit to the Urban Mission Kids Cafe, which is an after-school program of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma that fights childhood hunger in Oklahoma. |

Following his win on Greatest American Dog, Brorsen developed a book and DVD series called Adventures with Travis and Presley, which helps children to improve their manners. The serieswill come to life at Kids Cafe and educate children on manners when the pair visits the site. After the program, the lessons of Adventures with Travis and Presley will be incorporated into all 18 of the Regional Food Bank’s Kids Cafe sites in central and western Oklahoma. |

The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is a private, 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that acts as a link through which the food industry and community may donate food and other goods. The products are then distributed to nearly 700 schools and charitable feeding programs in 53 central and western Oklahoma counties. In the last fiscal year, the Food Bank distributed 28.5 million pounds of food and product to help the charitable community effectively feed people in need. Since its inception in 1980, the Food Bank has distributed more than 321 million pounds of food to feed Oklahoma’s hungry.
